We are now able to communicate with our customers better on technical aspects related to diamonds and other gemstones. The customers too seem happier and more satisfied. We have transformed our approach from ‘selling’ to ‘being a guide to our customers’. This has definitely reflected positively on the business and increased the word of mouth publicity for my store”.
Students in GIA’s Diamond Grading Lab Class work with real diamonds and professional Gemmological tools to uncover the fascinating world inside these gems. The class teaches both technical and practical ways to observe and evaluate diamond quality, and the basics of the famous 4Cs (colour, cut, clarity and carat weight), an evaluation system created by GIA.
